Education, which has been seen as an important issue since the first periods of human history, has continued its development within the framework of different variations until it reaches a systematic identity in its historical course until today. The aforementioned process, which started with the invention of the article, continued with the examination of education as a system and discipline. The foundations of education as a philosophical tradition can be traced back to the Ancient Greek-Hellenistic period. Over time, Educational activities have progressed in terms of both content and institutions, and with the emergence of the Religion of Islam, education has gained an additional area of interest for Muslims. In this context, the issue of education, which is also emphasized by Islamic thinkers, has been examined in terms of the relationship between education and philosophy, and important opinions on the necessity and methods of education have been given. Beginning with the 19th century, when many disciplines separated from philosophical tradition and became disciplines, education was also affected by this transformation. With modernization, Educational philosophy has been evaluated in an autonomous position and academic studies have been included in this field. Naquib al-Attas, an important thinker of the Malay-Islamic cultural tradition, took important steps towards the necessity of an educational reform and expressed the need for a transformation based on the Islamic literature, and the search for methods and solutions. Especially Attas emphasized the necessity of removing the concepts reflecting the ideology of the Western education system from the content of the Islamic education system and creating an Islamic education model. In this context, he tired to created a new education system with the Islamization of language first and then knowledge within the process called Islamization. As a result of the Islamization Project he mentioned, Attas, who advocated the inclusion of studies in a education model suitable for the Islamic literature of Muslim individuals, argued that the crises in Islamic societies could be eliminated as part of the continuation of this tradition.
