Abstract (EN)

Currently, with the development of science and technology it has begun using nano materials in many sectors. It is very important to use nano materials effectively because of their expensiveness. In this respect, minimizing the places and/or weights occupied by nanostructures will provide valuable benefits. In this study, shape optimization of nanostructures modeled as truss was performed under frequency constraints. During the optimization process, it is aimed to determine the most suitable truss joint coordinates to minimize the weight of the structure. Artificial Bee colony, which is one of the effective meta-heuristic methods, was used as the optimization method. In accordance with the optimum design data obtained, the effect of atomic parameters on both macro and nano structures and their relationship with frequencies were investigated according to different atomic parameters. Finite Element Method was used for truss structure analysis. In this thesis study, truss with 37 elements optimized as macro structure, and truss structures with 13 and 7 elements analyzed at nanoscale were used as design examples. According to the results obtained, atomic parameters were effective in macro structures. In nanostructures, nano-optimal designs change at high e0a atomic parameter values. Looking at the frequencies of the optimum structures, the high value e0a, which is generally dominated by the first mode has made the frequencies of the second and third modes move away from the limit frequency values.
