Özet (EN)

In this project; after mixing the inorganic organic hybrid polymer systems with suitable molecular initiators and hydrophobic network modifiers, the corrosion inhibitory effects were observed by the addition of surface modified inorganic nano and micro sized SiO2, ZnO, BN particles by dispersion technology. For this purpose, DTM (Direct to Metal) Glossy Black polyurethane paint, which is used commercially directly to metal in the general industry was defined as a reference. It is aimed to obtain an anticorrosive, scratch and abrasion resistant, hydrophobic nanocomposite coating with inorganic nano and micro sized particles which is the modification of the reference formula. Due to the organic polymer part, the dispersion process was adjusted with solvents and the polymeric hybrid structure, whose viscosity was brought to the consistency of spray coating. Coating then applied to the steel plate surfaces to form the desired film layer. It is aimed to obtain coatings that hava an anticorrosive effect and ara as environmentally friendly as possible, especially in the industrial field. Before the polymeric structure is formed, polymerization behaviors of each component were examined in depth with FT-IR and TG-DTA for preliminary modeling. Also investigations were completed for the physical and chemical behaviors after the component polymerization. SEM and EDX were used for the detection of chemical analysis of the coated nanocomposite material, Atomic Mapping used for the dispersion features of the nanoparticles, XPS and FT-IR for the characterization of the molecular bonds and crosslinking degree. Also TG-DTA was utilzed for the detection of the thermal properties of the materials. In order to measure the corrosion resistance of the coating film after curing, Standard Neutral Salt Test, CASS (Cooper Acclereated Salt Spray) Test, Electro Impedance measurements were carried out with Tafel Polarization curves (TP). In addition, in order to measure the hydrophobic character of nanocomposite structures; Contact Angle and Surface Tension measurements were used and new formulations were developed that provide a better anticorrosion performance by comparing the film thickness of the coatings the incorporated nanoparticles.
