Nazir İbrahim and his diwan (text-content-analysis)

ABSTRACTThis study that titled ?Nazir Ibrahim and His Diwan (Text-Contents-Analysis)-as expressed in the title of thesis-consists of two main chapters. Firstof these is Nazir Ibrahim?s identity, his life story, his works and his thought andliterary personality. Second is Nazir Ibrahim?s Diwan which is the most importantone of his works. Text of Diwan was restored by way of comparison of copies andthe study of analysis was based on this restored text.The more detailed examination was aimed to by separating main titles in thesetwo main chapters in to subsequent headlines. This thesis is composed of fivechapters. An introduction has been added to before evaluation these five chaptersabout the period of Nazir brahim?s time. In the first chapter-as mentionedabove-Nazir brahim?s life, his works and literary aspect are put forth forconsideration.Thoughts of Nazûr brahim regarding religion an Islamic mysticism have beenresearched within the frame of concepts. These concepts which inform on us theworld of thought of poet and are used frequently in his Diwan, are made public. Inthis manner both thought of poet and understanding of his life period can bepossible. In the study of concepts, it is applied to dictionaries and other topic-related books.Not only thought of religion and Islamic mysticism of poet as a subject of mythesis but also his comprehension of world are considered important. Because ofthis, in the third chapter his understanding of society and in the fourth chapter hisunderstanding of nature was explained. These parts of study also were taken up onmethod of concept analysis. Thanks to analyzed parts, way of using forms of poetwhich have been used in Diwan literature were reflected, in this study.In the final chapter, Critique Text was produced by comparison of differentcopies of Diwan. In this way, we tried our´s hardest to set the trustworthy text.VI
