Necmî Dîvâni (Mehmet Necmettin) texs-examination

Based on Necmî's Dîvân(Mehmed Necmeddin), which is the subject of the this study, information is given about his life, family, education and literary personality. There is no information about the date of birth and death of Necmî in the sources. However, information is given about the his place of residence and occupation. The poet, who wrote poems under the pseudonym Necmî, has three works in the National Library, named Divan, Pendnâme and Gülşenistân. The work, which is the subject of the thesis, consists of the text and analysis part of Dîvân. The texs has been translated with transcription. İn the examine part, the morphological features of the paems, the elements of harmony, and the literary arts were examined. The qasidas, stanzas, musammats, bahr-i tavils, gazelles and ebiyats were examined in the order in the Dîvân. İn the analysis section, the poems in these sections are given in tables. There is a congratulation section at the end of the Turkish Language İnstitution copy of the Dîvân. The poems and prose sections in this section have been studied with transcription. Some interventions were made to the poems in Dîvân, which draw attention with its prosody flaws. While translating the transcription in Dîvân, the text was repaired where necessary. From these repairs, presentation, word removal, citation vavs were removed or additions were made. There is an interference with the original form of some words. These interventions are arranged as sound reduction or sound reproduction. İnformation is given about Necmî's life, family, birth and desth. İnformation about Necmî's literary and scientific personality is given based on the Divan. Examples about the priod he lived in, social life and some historical information are available in the section. Prosody patterns of the poems in Dîvân have been the part we have been dealing with the most in our study. İn the analysis part, the meters of the poems were found and given in the form of a table. In addition, a question mark was put for the meters that could not be found despite great efforts. The subject of rhyme and redif in Dîvân has been examined in detail. While examining the redifs of the poems, the ones on the basis of words, those on the basisof affixes and those on the basis of affixes and words were examined in three items. Examples are given about the literary arts identified in the Dîvân. There are examples about language features, idioms and archaic words that we identified in the Dîvân. When Necmî's poetry is examined in terms of language, we understand that he sometimes escaped to Old Anatolion Turkish. İnformation about these features is given in the review. In general, the remarkable elements of this Dîvân, in which the generality of Dîvân literature is maintained, has been studied in detail in the section has of examining its innovative situations. One of the last representatives of Dîvân literature, Mehmet Necmeddin's work, which has survived to the present day, has been meticulously examined and introduced to the world of science.
