Abstract (EN)

In this study, Nedim Gursel?s narrative and novel city and women themes are analyzed. This themes will be evaluated by compare with writer?s own life.Nedim Gursel is interested in literature both academicaly and by his artistic works. His mostly known by his story telling but he also has novels, travel, essay and research boks.Nedim Gursel is carrying on his life voluntaraly which started obligatory as an exile. The writer who is living in Paris now focused on city and woman themes in his works.In this study, Gursel?s seven narrative books and two novel are discussed in terms of city and woman themes. Our study which consist of two section; the writer?s life and literary personality is reflected in first section with title city theme. It is discussed how the city was evaluated the next section titled woman theme the woman addressed on woman tips.In this study, Nedim Gursel?s different approach to our narrative and novel customs is tryed to reveal. In result section, thematic property is determined in writer?s narrative and novels.Key words: Nedim Gursel, city, woman, narrative, novel.
