Abstract (EN)
Classical Turkish poetry reflects the understanding of art, language and culture of the periods in which it was formed and developed. The alienation of this culture with changing life conditions and thought system made it difficult to understand the works of classical literature. One of the current studies on understanding the texts of classical Turkish literature is the TEBDİZ (Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary of Historical and Literary Texts) project. The Divan of Nef'î Glossory [Contextual Index and Functional Glossory] was also prepared within this project. In this study, the meaning of all words and phrases in the couplet was tried to be determined and then converted into dictionary format. The context index section of the study includes the collection of witnesses under the headings of alphabetical articles and the frequency of their use in the divan; the functional dictionary part refers to the determination of the meaning gained by the context in which words are used. With this study, the vocabulary of the Nef'î's Divan was revealed and also the cultural elements of the period were tried to be determined as reflected in the poems of Nef'î. Thus, it is aimed to make Nef'î's poems understandable in particular and to make understandable classical Turkish poetry in general.
