Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of nepotism on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. For this aim, the nepotism, tendency to the organizational dependence and organizational citizenship behavior of employees which has been privatized by the property ownership of the employees and, employees which is transferred to the private enterprise by block sale. The research population is made of business workers which has been privatized by the property ownership of the employees and employees which is transferred to the private enterprise by block sale. As the population is great, convenience sampling method is used. In the study which is used both quantitative and qualitative data collecting method, the data is collected by semi-structured interview for the subjects of privatization and by questionnaires of the nepotism, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior perception. The questionnaires prepared for the survey have been carried out in Karabük province and Zonguldak province between the dates of 28th January – 15th April. The frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and t-tests are applied to the data obtained. The survey results indicate that the nepotism perceptions of employees which is transferred to the private enterprise by block sale are greater than employees which has been privatized by the property ownership of the employees in t-tests. They indicate that the tendency to showing organizational citizenship behavior of employees which has been privatized by the property ownership of the employees is on higher level than employees which is transferred to the private enterprise by block sale; also it is indicated that the organizational perceptions of the employees of both business are similar and there is no difference. According to the results of regression tests carried out in the research, it is indicated that there is a positive relationship between the nepotism perceptions and organizational commitments of employees which is transferred to the private enterprise by block sale and they are affected in the same direction; and there is a negative relationship for employees which has been privatized by the property ownership of the employees and they are affected in the reverse direction. It is also indicated that there is a positive relationship between the nepotism perceptions and organizational citizenship behaviors of employees which is transferred to the private enterprise by block sale and they are affected in the same direction; and there is a negative relationship for employees which has been privatized by the property ownership of the employees and they are affected in the reverse direction. It is indicated that there is a positive relationship between the organizational commitments and organizational citizenship behaviors of both business employees and they are affected in the same direction.
