Narrator minstrel type in Nevîzâde Atâyî Divan's

There is a type of the narrator lover who narrates his feelings to the beloved, his thoughts about her, his circumstances in brief his adventure in Ottoman Poetry. The origin of this type which is designed with poet's inspiration and talent in the universe of poem occurs with literal tradition and social reality. This study is the output of the endeavour for detecting the importante of the narrator lover and his position in Nevizade Atayi Ottoman Poetry with reference to the chosen verses by taking advantage of opportunity which narratology provides. It is informed about Atayi's life, personality, literal intellection and his works in the introduction of this study which involves introduction, two sections, conclusion and reference. The varieties of the type of the narrator lover and his duty in poetical fiction in Nevizade Atayi Ottoman Poetry are interpreted after the notions of "the narrator and the lover" which take part in the first section of the literal works are clarified. In the second section the lover who is the narrator in the Ottoman Poetry that is being mentioned about is classified by "classical type of lover" and "unclassical type of lover" that is not often encountered traditionally by involving the subtopics. "The classical type of lover" is analyzed more than one sentimental and physical speciality. On the other hand, "the unclassical type of lover" is analyzed with different behaviours and discourses in a thematic way. After an overview in every subtopic of the theme, the verses which are narrated by a narrator as a model of the theme are indicated with these personal records. Some factors such as notions that enrich the meaning, propositions, metaphors, literary arts are analyzed with the intralingual translation of verses. In this way, it is tried to be looked the poet's universe of poem from the aspect of the narrator lover. In conclusion the type of the narrator lover in Nevizade Atayi Ottoman Poetry, his material and moral condition that is envisined, his traditional discourses, his out of step attitudes are revealed with his unique aspects.
