Abstract (EN)

The primary aim of this study is to examine the fundamental principles of Niccolò Machiavelli's political philosophy, its historical context, and its impact on contemporary politics. As a thinker shaped by the political turbulence, foreign interventions, and internal conflicts of 16th-century Italy, Machiavelli developed his political theory on a practical and realistic foundation, independent of moral norms. In this context, Machiavelli's conception of power, authority, and leadership, as presented in his work The Prince, has become a key reference point influencing contemporary politics across a wide spectrum, from authoritarian regimes to populist movements.
