Abstract (EN)

The end of the century 19th, beginning of the century 20th, the rapid progress of Azerbaijan Literature in novel, poetry and theater, after Azerbaijan came under the rule of Soviet Union at 1920, occupation took over seventeen years and caused many innovations and regressions in the understanding of literature and art. During these years, Azerbaijani poets and writers began to produce works in accordance with the demands of the forced regime. Nigar Refibeyli, who was also known for her identity as a translator, was one of the rare women poets who expressed herself with her poems and translations in Azerbaijan literature in these years under the Soviet Regime. In her poems written in a simple and understandable language, Nigar Refibeyli included individual and universal themes and expressed deeply sincerity and openness to the motherland, mother's love, woman and philanthropy. With the outbreak of World War II, her poems mostly focused on war subjects and gave a great place to longing and love in her poems. In general, her poems are about nature, the problems of the time and the current feelings and thoughts of people. Nigar Refibeyli although she gave the first examples of free poetry, which is considered new in Azerbaijani literature in the 20th century. she occasionally produced poems in aruz measure but mostly syllable measure.
