Özet (EN)
In this study, hydrogen gas evolution has been studied on electrodeposited copper, nickel and nickel/copper carbon felt electrodes in an alkaline solution. To carry out the study, cathodic polarization curves have been obtained by using three-elecrtode techniques. Electrolysis method has been used to determine over potential of those electrodes. Additionally volumes of hydrogen gas which is evolved on the cathode has been measured by applying constant 3V potential with electrolysis method. The results showed that hydrogen over potential decreased on the electrodeposited nickel carbon felt electrode.
