Özet (EN)

Due to some disadvantages of heavy metal removal from aqueous systems by conventional methods, alternative methods have been investigated. Biosorption is one of these methods. In this method, metal ions are transported into cell structure, and removal is ensured by several mechanisms that occured between living and non-living microorganisms and metal ions.In this study, two adsorptive isolates belonging to Rhizobium phaseoli and the strain adsorptive which is called as Rhizobium phaseoli CIAT 899 have been used in order to remove Ni(II) ion from aqueous solution. In biosorption study, the effect of the initial Ni(II) ion concentration, pH and time parameters have been examined and the capacities of biosorption values have been measured. As a result of biosorption study, the best removal parameters and biosorption capacities have been determined as 21.00 mg/g, in pH 4, in 150 mg/l concentration, in 90th minute, in Rhizobium phaseoli 23F isolate; 34.49 mg/g, in pH 3, in 250 mg/l concentration, in 120th minute, in Rhizobium phaseoli 38F isolate and 19.99 mg/g, in pH 5, in 250 mg/l concentration, in 30th minute, in Rhizobium phaseoli CIAT 899 strain.
