An analysis on Nikolay Baboglu's stories

Nikolay Baboglu is one of the leading writers of contemporary Gagauz literature. The author has done a lot of work for the development of Gagauz society and for the generations to come after him not to forget their ethnic identities and Gagauzism. In this context, Nikolay Baboglu wrote stories, newspapers, textbooks, magazines, dictionaries, etc. He wrote many kinds of works. Baboglu Gagauz is mostly known for the stories he wrote in his unique style, the textbooks he prepared for students, and the dictionaries. His main purpose in writing his stories is to convey a message to the Gagauz society. For this purpose, Baboglu has mentioned ordinary heroes and their daily lives in his stories, and conveys the message to the reader through the characters he has created. The aim of our study is to analyze the 25 stories of Nikolay Baboglu, which has an important place in Gagauz literature, in his work called "My Far Ways", in terms of structure and thematic, and to try to analyze the cultural structure, lifestyle of the Gagauz society, and the language and style of the author. The study consists of introduction, three parts, conclusion, dictionary, appendices, index and bibliography. In the introduction part of our study, the principles of the thesis study were emphasized, in the first part, the life, literary personality and works of the author, and in the second part, information about Contemporary Gagauz Literature was given. In the third part, 25 stories; The plot, main idea, people, time, place, theme, point of view of the narrative and narrative techniques are examined in terms of structural elements and language-style. In the conclusion part, the stories of the author that we have examined are evaluated and the relationship between the author and the stories is given by numbering.
