Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the water quality of Nilüfer stream, which is one of the water reaources of Bursa province. The samples were collected at the specific points on the Nilüfer Stream and analyzed. These analyzes were applied as physical (pH, temperature, DO, conductivity, etc.) and chemical (TKN, nitrite nitrogen, nitrate, nitrogen, etc.) parameters Obtained data were evaluated and determined according to the water quality regulation and water quality classes. When the results were evaluated by considering the parameters in the Surface Water Quality Management Regulation. The classes of stations were shown as below; Sukain011 station III. class, Sugin034-suoin029 station IV. class, Sugin027 station III. class, Sugin032-suoin024 station IV. class, Sugin028-suoin071 station III. class, Sugin033-suoin028 station IV. class, Sugin010-suoin031 station IV. class Sugin029- Suoin030 station IV class, Sugin014 station III. class Sugin014 station III. class Suoin063 station IV. Class, Suoin025 station IV. Class. . It is seen that most of the water resources in the stream are not in good condition in terms of water quality. The developed industry in the region and the agricultural activities cause water pollution. . In this study, by evaluating all the polluting sources in the basin, solution suggestions are presented to increase the water quality of the water sources feeding the Stream and the effluent water to be used for irrigation purposes.
