Abstract (EN)

Almost all the poems are characterized by mystical poetry in the Divan of Niyâzî-i Mısrî, who is a sufi poet of XVII. century.Mystical terms, such as ''fenâ, bekâ, excellent human, transfiguration, celâl, cemâl'' were used by a lot of sufi poets. Niyâzî-i Mısrî took advantage of these mystical key expressions to tell the truths of the religion. So, in the Divan of Niyâzî-i Mısrî these expressions are usually seen. In his poems, Mısrî not only used mystical terms directly but also took advantage of the words and phrases, which give the meaning of the terms. Knowing and determining the meaning frameworks of these terms, which are specific to mysticism, will contribute to a better understanding of the mystical texts. In this study, the mystical key expressions used in the divan of Niyâzî-i Mısrî are determined and the descriptions of these expressions are given. With the sample poems chosen from the divan, it is tried to be explained the meanings of these key expressions and their meaning relevance with other words. Key Words: Mystical Key Expressions, sufi, divan, mystical poetry, transfiguration.
