Biofilm Formation of Non Fermantative Gram Negative Bacteria and Determination of Antibiotic Sensitivity It is known that nonfermantative Gram-negative bacteria can cause infections increasingly, as opportunistic pathogens, in patients having supressed the immunological system and receiving drug treatment. NFGNB which are Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii, Stenotrophomonas maltophiha and Burkholderia cepacia cause important nasocominal infections. The virulance features of microorganisms that are mucoid structures in glycocalic in the bacterial surfaces that colonize respiratory tracts in certain cases such as biofilms, catheters, joints and cardiac protheses or in certain diseases such as cystic fibrosis and they protect against host infectious system by bacterial antibacterial agents, they can prepare the ground. The aim of this study was to determine the biofilm production and antibiotic susceptibilities of isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P.aeruginosa) Acinetobacter baumanii (A.baumanii) Stenotrophomonas maltophiha (S.maltophilia) and Burkholderia cepacia (B.cepacia) isolated from various clinical specimens. Determination of biofilm formation was carried out by using congo red agar (CRA), standart tube (ST) method and mikroplate (MP) were used. It was found that 71(%47.33) of the isolates of nonfermantative Gram-negative bacterial isolate were 79(%52,67) biofilm was negative and 57(%38) of the isolates were positive 93(%52,67) compared to the ST method using crystal viole stain, whereas biofilm was negative (%52,67) compared to ST 65(43.33) were found to be positive and 85 (%56.67) biofilms were negative. 61(%40.66) of the isolates and 89 (%59.34) of the biofilms were negative according to the MP method used safran stain. Biofilm which is one of microorganizms virulenca features and also it has characteristic that is mucoid structures in glycocalic on surface of bacteria colonizing on catheters, joints and cardiac protheses or in case of respiratory tract diseases such as cystic fibrosis. can cause chronicle infections by protecting them against host's immune system. It was aimed to determine susceptibilities of and biofilm production of isolates from various samples, which are Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P.aeruginosa), Acinetobacter baumanii (A.baumanii), Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (S.maltophilia) and Burkholderia cepacia (B.cepacia). Standart tube (ST) method and miktoplate (MP) was used in determining of biofilm production used Congo red agar. It was found that while among 150 samples 71(47.33%) of the isotopes of nonfermantative Gram-negative bacterial isolate were pozitive, the rest of samples, which means 79 (%52,67) biofilm were. Percent 38 (%57) of the isolates were positive, percent %52,67 were negative, according to ST method. And also according to the same method , percent % 65 (43.33) were found to be positive and 85 (%56.67) biofilms were negative. According to principles of cristal violent method, it was found that isolates 61 (%40,66) were pozitive and 89 (%59,34) were negative. Existence of biofilm on Microorganizms Isolated from various samples are in accordance with resultes of other studies at the same topic. It was found out that the test in microplate method called as Gold Test among tests used to determine of biofilm production has the highest biofilm positive rate and this has supported the result found through thıs study. Biofilm positive Acinetobacter baumanii (A.baumanii)'s strains were resistant to amoksisilin-klavunat(AMC) and trimetroprim-sülfometoksazol(SXT) but Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P.aeruginosa) was resistant to amoksisilin-klavunat(AMC) ve trimetroprim- sülfometoksazol(SXT). As result amongs methods used to determine biofilm production pozitiveness rate of nonfermantative gram-negative bacteria strain the most used method is the MP prepared by using bile paint which is used , to most extent, in the MP . In addition it was found that biofilm production has key role in antimicrobial resistance shaping.
