Özet (EN)
Some chemicals known as endocrine disruptors can have harmful effects on the body's endocrine system. It has been shown that alkylphenol ethoxylates cause disruptions in the endocrine system by mimicking the estrogen hormone. It has been reported that the amounts of its derivatives such as NF found in the environment have estrogenic, toxic and carcinogenic effects on both aquatic and terrestrial creatures.Nonylphenol has been found to leach from plastic bottles into the water content.Environmental pollutants appear to have effects on the human reproductive system as well as other species, and the incidence of male reproductive system disorders has been increasing in recent years. Upon study of the toxic effects of NF on early embryonic development in humans, it was stated that it caused dose-dependent apoptosis in human embryonic stem cells. In studies conducted on several organisms, it has been reported that the chronic, severe and toxic properties of NF cause endocrine disruption. Studies have shown that glutamine has a protective effect on chemicals. Due to all these features, the subject of this study is to determine whether NF has negative effects during fertilization and embryo period and It was studied whether glutamine had a protective effect on the chemical effect of Nonylphenol on semen. In this thesis study, 0.1; 10; 100µq NF/ml concentrations of were chosen. The effects of NF on fertilization and embryonic periods have been investigated. Concentrations of 100 µq NF/ml and 1, 5, 10 mM glutamine were selected. It was observed that there was no improvement in the NF concentrations studied in this thesis study, and it can be said that NF has negative effects on the embryo. It has been observed that Glutamine reduces the negative effect of Nonylphenol on semen.
