Abstract (EN)

The present thesis deals a study on a non-linear, three-dimensional finite elements of a concrete filled steel tube (CFST) column - beam connection with CAE ABAQUS program. the main purpose of the study is to analysis concrete – filled steel tube beam or columns and verified by the finite element program against experimental data, the behavior of the connection is investigated using finite element (FE) analysis. The finite element simulation results are compared with test data verified the (FE) model mode. And also study the properties of finite elements modeling of concrete filled steel tube (CFST) connections. To achieve the objectives of this study, the research was divided into two phases: first phase deals with modeling concrete filled steel tube column and concrete filed steel tube beam separately in Abaqus and analysis them, and comparison of the results of FE analysis with experimental test data according to literature. The second phases of this study stands on modeling a nonlinear finite element model for the analysis of concrete filled steel tube column-beam connection in Abaqus with external loading such as force and moment. Parts of the model results from finite element analysis are verified by experimental reference test results and finally good agreement were achieved
