Review of students? achiment levels in maths tests of SBS exam between General primary schools and Boarding region primary schools

This research is a kind of descriptive study that has been done on the purpose of surveying the Boarding Regional Primary School students? and the Primary School students? SBS (Placement Test) total scores and YBS ( Year-End Success Test) total scores, SBS (Placement Test) Maths scores and YBS (Year?End Success Test )Maths scores. In this research, SBS (Placement Test) scores and Academic Year- End School Success Grades of the Primary Schools students and the Boarding Regional Primary Schools students in the counties of Elazıg, Maden and Tunceli, Cemisgezek have been used as data. The acquired datas have been separated as Boarding Regional Primary School and Primary School, and the analysis results of these school types have been compared. Also ; in order to be compared with these datas ; before being separated of the datas as Boarding Regional Primary School and Primary School, all the students? datas have been analyzed as a whole and the comparisons have been made. The effects of various independent variables have been surveyed on these datas. The parametric and non-parametric aspects of datas have been specified and as regards these aspects proper statistical analysis methods have been applied.As a result of these analyses, there have been found significiant differentials as regards among school types and counties and also gender variables. There are some suggestions about low-performanced Boarding Regional Primary Schools in order to increase their performances.
