Abstract (EN)
The Normans antecedently come into the existence in history of Sicily with the Hauteville dynasty. After the death of the Great Count Roger I. (1101) his son Roger II. took the place of his. Roger II. taking the support of the papacy territories of Sicily and Southern Italy entirely dominated. In 1130 he was crowned as King in Palerm. And from this year forth island was referred to as the Kingdom of Sicily-Norman. The King of Sicily, Roger II. succeeded to move further with his successful diplomacy administrative mechanisms of his father Roger I. In Sicily, the largest and most important island of the Mediterranean, lived together various ethnic groups as East Romans, Muslims and Normans. Roger II. approached all of these peoples with tolerance and his politics conducted not in the axis of religion or ethnicity; but on the basis of diplomacy. This attitude of Roger II. was effective in terms of his authority strong and sturdy in the territories which he had captured.
