Abstract (EN)

Neuroarchitecture is a growing field that integrates neurology, environmental psychology, and architecture to examine the neural processes affected by individuals' actions and interactions within the built environment. Bibliometric analysis is the numerical analysis of publications produced by individuals or institutions in a certain field, in a certain period, and in a certain region, and the relationships between these publications. Although there are many studies in the literature on this subject, there are very few studies on architecture-related topics. In this study, a research using the bibliometric analysis method will be conducted, covering studies evaluating the effects of neuroarchitecture in two different areas, user-oriented and design-oriented. For this purpose, in the study, publications related to neuroarchitecture and especially studies related to educational structures will be scanned quantitatively, and a database will be created from the numerical values obtained. The research covers peer-reviewed publications scanned in the Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus catalogs between 2000-2023, which can reveal the discipline of neuroarchitecture and its impact on educational structures in detail. The search will only cover published articles, and publications that may not yet be "completed", such as letters to the editor, conference proceedings, etc., will not be used in this research. Since WOS is the most comprehensive database of peer-reviewed literature in technical sciences, the search covers the studies of publishers in this database.
