Abstract (EN)
The short film, named New World Order-Novus Ordo Seclorum, has been taken as a thesis. In this study, the first part gives general information and the second part explains the preparation before the film shooting. The third part includes the shooting of the short film, the fourth part cost of the film and last part the problems encountered during the assembling (editing) stage and introduces the actors and the technical team. The main theme of the film is making a film using security cameras which surround us. We start being watched from the moment we leave home. We are constantly being watched for our security, in the streets, on all means of public transport, at the at the port sides, at the stations, in the banks and in our offices. In this study my purpose is to commentate on the idea of making a film using the scenes of the security cameras that watch us all the time and everywhere. Authentic security camera scenes comprise 70 % of the film. 30% of the film, however, has been shot from above using a crane to give the impression that it is shot with security cameras. When we leave home for work we may witness a tragic event or may be a part of a tragic event, just like what happens to Yusuf, who we follow from the moment he leaves home.Key words: New World Order, Security, Security Cameras, To be Watched, Short Film.
