Özet (EN)
Rubber is an important material that has a wide area of usage all over the world. An alternative product, which will substitute rubber material in the production of tire, has not been discovered, yet. Paraffinic, Naphthenic, and Aromatic oils, called as process oils, are used in the rate of 8% by mass during production of these products. After it has been determined that poly-aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in these oils have carcinogenic and environmentally hazardous effects, restrictions and prohibitions imposed by European Union have led to rubber sector searching environmentally-friendly oil with low PAH content. The purpose of this study is to investigate the change in physico-mechanical and rheological properties of TDAE (Treated Distillate Aromatic Extract),Paraffinic and Nahtenics oils, which have been recently developed and are in accordance with specifications regarding environment and human health, in terms of Aromatic oils when they are used in the production of NR/SBR-based tire. Thermal behaviors of products obtained by using these oils was examined with Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
