Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, a virtual oscilloscope was designed in a computer by means of a code developed using LabVIEW software. Signals supplied by a function generator were displayed in the virtual oscilloscope and a real oscilloscope. Data transfering to the virtual oscilloscope was carried on via a GPIB interface of the real oscilloscope. In this way, it was possible to measure the quantities without any data acquisation unit. Various voltage and time quantities of the signals used in Nuclear Physics were measured by these oscilloscopes. These quantities and signal shapes acquired from both oscilloscopes were compared with each other for different oscilloscope adjustments. Besides, signal shapes through zoom and math addition operations in both oscilloscopes were also compared. It was observed that obtained signal shapes and the results from the virtual oscilloscope were highly in compatible with those of the real oscilloscope.
