Educational messages in the works of Nur İçözü

The number of books for children is increasing day by day. This situation necessitates the examination of the quality and suitability of the books for child. Children's books are examined in various aspects. In this research, it is aimed to examine the works of Nur İçözü in terms of educational messages. In this research, document analysis method was used. Educational messages in the tales and the stories of Nur İçözü determined by document analysis method and analyzed by content analysis. Within the scope of the research 53 books of Nur İçözü were examined. A total of 94 educational messages were identified and interpreted. İt is seen that the author's works are very rich in terms of educational messages and it is seen that she mostly includes messages such as sensitivity to nature and environment, love of animals, protection of animals, benevolence.
