Messages of Surah Nur to today's society

In this study, the messages given to today's people by the Surah Nur, which comes in the 24th rank of the Holy Book of the Qur'an, which Allah Almighty sent to people as a guide and guide, were examined. This surah is a surah in which important orders and prohibitions are given that will regulate the individual and social life of believers and give them personality and identity. In addition to these, the rules of etiquette related to family and social relations, provisions regarding adultery and qazf, inviting the Islamic society to be more careful in protecting people's chastity and honor, marriage, and encouragement for single people to get married are also in the content of the surah. In addition, Surah Nur, the situation of hypocrites and unbelievers, a warning against the snares of the devil and people with satanic qualities, the importance of mosques, which are indispensable for social morality and collective worship, the necessity of obedience to Allah and His Prophet, greetings, manners in entering and leaving houses, veiling, privacy, decency and chastity. It contains principles that will bring moral maturity, such as With this feature, the moral principles and rules that will ensure the happiness and peace of the individual, family and society today and in the future are in a quality that will shed light on humanity. In our thesis, the messages intended to be given in the verses of Surah Nur have been determined and classified as items. Although the study is limited to Surah Nur, it has been reinforced with exemplary verses throughout the Qur'an. XIV In this effort, it is aimed to know and assimilate the individual and social principles that will enable them to live in individual, family and social peace and peace today. Therefore, it is a fact that bad behaviors that pave the way for the collapse of society, such as moral collapse in individuals, families and societies, the loss of importance of the concept of family, the lack of attention to privacy issues, can be resolved with these divine messages in the Qur'an.
