Nüzhet Erman-his life-art and works

Mehmet Nüzhet ERMAN was born in İstanbul on April 28, 1926. The poet started writing poem in 1941 and his first poem called `Köyde Akşam? was published in the magazine,Yedi Gün on August 11,1941. His poems was published in the magazines; Yedi Gün , Varlık , Ülkü , Hisar , Türk Dili , Türk Edebiyatı and Milli Kültür .His first poetry book was `Yeşil?which published by Ülkü publications in 1945. After that, his other poetry boks;A Benim Canım Efendim(1958); Anadolu1970(1970); Hem Hürriyet Hem Ekmek?(1974); Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk(1981); Halk Haktır(1990)Türk(1990); Her Gün Yeni Doğarız(1996); İpe Un Seren Adam(2000) were published in the given order.Nüzhet Erman having 9 poetry books was a productive poet. Nüzhet Erman has 763 poems published in magazines and in his books.311 poems of these were published in literature magazines.He had the maximum numbers of poems in the magazine ` Hisar?.The minimum number of poems of the poet was published in Milli Kültür.When Nüzhet Erman who is remembered as a poet and a governer had the position of governer in Antalya,Rize,Muğla ,and Tekirdağ , he had a chance to study psychological,cultural ,economical and social pattern of the society closely.The poet studied emotion and thought world of Turkish people , his viewpoint about life and world in his poems successfully.He choosed the topics of the public life, disturbances in public order, city ??life ,loneliness,the love of nature ,Turkish history, cultural values and longing for Atatürk in his poems . The poet builded bridges between Turkish History and today using objects, historical events and people. So his poems are reflections of history,culture , social life ,people and today world.Nüzhet Erman `s first writing, `Newspaper and Policy? was published in the magazine ,`Ülkü? on March 15,1948. From january-1970 to july -1974, his 17 writings called `Büyüteç? was published in the magazine,Hisar.The poet who studied people and social life by the help of his unique style studied public sayings,idioms,proverbs,everday speech in his poems successfully and told Anatolian people using his unique language and poetic style.The poet who prefered using free verse and verse story style expressed his emotions in a simple and sincere way .
