Abstract (EN)

The objective of this thesis is to examine the subject of munâsâbât in the initial stage makkî surahs, with reference to the order of nuzûl. The thesis is comprised of an introduction and two principal chapters. The introduction covers the research's conceptual framework, significance, purpose, subject, method, and sources. In the first chapter, the meaning of the word nuzûl and the situations that the Prophet was addressed during the revelation of the Qur'ân are explained. In addition to these, the benefits of knowing the order of nuzûl and the types of nuzûl are also mentioned here. The suras' designation, their classification as Makki and Madani, and the reasoning behind this are also discussed. Furthermore, the classification of the surahs between Al-Alaq-Sâd analysed in this study has been made. At the end of the first chapter, various issues related to the definition, meaning and purpose of the science of munâsabât, which constitutes the main subject of the study, are examined. The second part discusses the division of the Makkî suras into phases, focusing on 39 surahs from the initial phase of the Meccan period. This section begins with general information about each surah, then analyzes the thematic unity between their beginnings and ends, as well as their interrelations (munâsebât). The suras, starting with Al-Alaq and concluding with Sâd, are examined in the context of verses and their connections within the Qur'ân. The research concludes with a summary of the findings. Key Words: Qur'ân, Nuzul, Makkî Suras, Munâsebât, Munâsebât al Qur'ân.
