Abstract (EN)
Conjecturing is considered as an important step in asserting the mathematical relations. Dynamic Geometry (DG) software environment enables the students to create a conjecture and assess its accuracy. ''Dragging'' is the most prominent tool from this environment to the paper pen environment and when geometric shapes change position, it offers measurement, comparison, visualizing, exploring and different solution development opportunities, in addition to observation of the protection of properties. The purpose of this research is to put forth how the students use the properties of dynamic geometry environment in the process of conjectures. The research group of the study, which is a study of qualitative research methods as a case study, is created by senior elementary school students. The data collection tool is designed in the form of four black box activities formed of different geometrical structures, according to the dynamic geometry environment. The data consisting of voice records and screenshots of the students related to conjectures about the process of examination of geometrical structures and rebuilding are analysed qualitatively. The results show that the dynamic geometry environment is effective on students when it comes to conjectures and testing. In this practice in which the understanding of the dynamic geometry knowledge is observed to be prerequisite, students used types of dragging effectively during the process of conjecture and verification.
