Abstract (EN)

The aim of the research is, the effect of the learner control constructed with learning style in web based education. These questions were being answered; ?What is the effect of the learner control constructed with learning style to the success of the student in web based education?? and ?What is the effect of the learner control constructed with learning style to the permanency of the learning in web based education??.This research was carried on with 66 selected students studying at Atatürk Anatolian High school, in Yenimahalle, at Ankara.Two different topics were selected to be used in research. Selected topics and content was same, but learning styles were different in web based materials. When the materials were being done, the learning style and the brain dominancy was taken in the construction. The application was done in selected lessons. Then the success and the permanency test was done.For all of the analyzing tests SPSS 12.0 was used. Levene and t-tests were used.The results of the research are summarized as below:There is no significant difference between success and permanency points of both groups in favor of the experimental group which was used the learner control was constructed with the learning style in web based education (p>.05).The reason of the non-significance can be the students? general success of the other lessons or the selection examination. Therefore, the research can be done with different students, different learning styles and different learner controls.
