Özet (EN)

Mobbing is a 1960s-based phenomenon. Mobbing actions are increasing because of increasing competition, job finding, difficulty in acquiring step-ups, position curiosity, penetration studies, ego satisfaction in business in the world and in our country . It can be thought as a reason that mobbing victims and cases are increasing due to the fact that mobbing, in legal dimension, cannot be diagnosed in a concrete sense, however physical violence is easily detectable. Mobbing literature also deals with concepts such as workplace terror, emotional harassment, and psychological violence. Intentionally systematic and repetitive attrition actions, in other words mobbing, causes psychological and physical disturbances affecting the psychological dimension of the individual. It is cannot be thought that the employee does not have the happiness and pleasure that he or she has obtained while performing his or her job. As the happiness and pleasure that the employee gets from doing business and doing business is considered as job satisfaction in the literature, this is the research subject that needs to be investigated for social and work life welfare and peace and it should be significiantly emphasized. As Mr. Saraç, Chairman of YÖK, claimed '' There are significant contributions of universities and industry to the development and growth of the countries and the welfare society''. In this study, the relationship between mobbinge exposure levels and job satisfaction of the instructors at the university is examined. The sample of the research is composed of 701 instructors working at Fırat University Central Campus. In this study descriptive-relational search model, which is a type of quantitative research, is used. In the study, the relationship between mobbing exposure levels and job satisfaction of the instructors and the effect of mobbing exposure levels on job satisfaction are investigated by using two scales. The first scale is the Leymann (1996) Psychological Harassment Scale, which was prepared by Nazlı Özcan (2011) and the other one is Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale translated into Turkish by Aslı Baycan Binark (1985). The obtained data are analyzed with the help of packet statistical programs. Frequency and percentage tests are used to determine participants' demographics; T-test and analysis of variance are used to confirm the differences among groups' opinions ; and to state the relationship between variables, correlation analysis and regression analysis are used. Teaching Staff's mobbing exposure levels are "never" across the scale. When mobbing exposure levels are analyzed by demographic variables: there is no significant difference according to gender variable; it is seen that mobbing exposure levels increase as the level of education increased. According to the title variable, the research staff and experts; according to other teaching staff (Prof., Assoc. Assoc., Inst. See. And Lecturer); according to the age variable, the results of 27-32 age group are found to be exposed to more mobbing than the older age group. According to the respondents' responses to the job satisfaction measure, the result is of job satisfaction levels are high. According to the education status of the instructors, it is found out that the job satisfaction of graduates is higher than those who graduated from masters and doctorates. As vocational seniority increases, internal satisfaction increases; according to the age variable, participants in the age group of 27-32 are resulted to have lower job satisfaction than others . According to the unit variable studied, there is a significant difference between the participants' opinions on the dimensions of job satisfaction, internal satisfaction and external satisfaction. There was no significant difference in job satisfaction according to gender variable. There was a moderate and negative relationship between psychological abuse scale and job satisfaction scale and dimensions. According to these results, as the level of mobbing exposure of the instructors increases, the level of job satisfaction decreases. According to the results of the regression analysis; self ımprovement and communication attacks and life quality and occupation attacks dimensions are significant predictives of job satisfaction. 35 % of ınstructors' job satisfaction is explained by their perceptron of mobbing.
