Abstract (EN)

Principals are not only in the role of the governor who runs the school, but also the leader who directs and develops instruction. To make an analogy, we can give an example of the locomotive part of the train. In this sense, instructional leadership is expressed as the behaviors that the principal makes himself / herself shown by others in order to increase student success in school. According to this, instructional leadership is the behaviors of teachers that affect teaching and students' learning situations directly or indirectly. Each school has a learning climate that has a positive or negative impact on students and teachers. School systems are focusing more on student achievement by empowering school leaders in the context of program and accountability in this globalized period. Now the success of the school is often measured by the quality and quality of its pupils. In this sense, many researchers emphasize the role of school principal on student achievement. The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of school principals on students' academic achievement according to the opinions of teachers working in primary schools.
