Evaluation of burnout syndrome factors in academician: Fuzzy AHP and fuzzy AHP-fuzzy TOPSIS hybrid model application

In the globalizing world, the changes and developments that have taken place in many fields, especially information technologies, have also shown themselves in universities, and the existing systems have been introduced and developed. In this context, the qualifications of the academic profession have changed and the responsibility for the academicians has increased. The academics involved in the information race have begun to live negative psychological problems depending on many factors such as individual, organizational and demographic factors in the time of fulfilling the expectations expected from them and in the time of reaching the age, and they have faced the syndrome of burnout from the problems of the modern age. Much research has been done in the literature to investigate these problems and find solutions. However, the survey method was used predominantly in the researches, with qualitative and contradictory results. In our study, it was aimed to analyze the risk factors causing burnout syndrome in Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) Methods by using the hybrid model which is the result of combining the fuzzy AHP and fuzzy AHP-Fuzzy TOPSIS methods, numerical ordering of the effect values of these factors and obtaining quantitative data . Thus, it is thought that future works will gain light and gain a different point of view. In this study, based on the literature review, the studies on the concept of burnout, the sub-dimensions of burnout, the risk factors causing burnout will be compared and the findings of the experts in the field will be determined and determined. In the conclusion, it will be opened to debate with the use of the MCDM to investigate the causes of burnout.
