Abstract (EN)
In this study, student teachers? information literacy self-efficacy levels were examined and evaluated according to usage of information and communication technologies comparatively.In this research, the relational survey method was used. The sampling group was made of 1801 student teachers continuing education at fourth grade in Departments of Computer Education and Instructional Technology, Science Education, English Language Teaching Education, Primary Mathematics Education, Primary School Education, Social Studies Education and Turkish Language Teaching Education in Atatürk, Ondokuz Mayıs, Marmara, Gazi and Dokuz Eylül universities in 2007 and 2008. In the first part of survey having been used as the data collection tool of research, questions referring to usage of information and communication technologies together with personal information of student teachers and in the second part information literacy self efficacy scale are present. Datum acquired in research were tested in SPSS 13 program by means of percent, frequency, mean, t-test, one and multiple factors ANOVA. For the significant outcomes in p<.01 level acquired in the conclusion of variant analysis, by which groups the difference caused has been determined by using Scheffe test. In the end of research; student teachers? information literacy skills were high and their these skills were significant differences according to gender, foreign language level, academic success, duration of computer experience, computer usage level, computer access points, internet usage level, internet access points and different computer applications.
