Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the levels of computer worries of teacher candidates.In the research, the survey method was used. The sample was made of 481 teacher candidates continuing education in Departments of Turkish Language Teaching, Science Education, Primary Education and Social Studies Education in Faculty of Education in Ahi Evran University in spring somestr in 2007 and 2008. Survey having been used as the data collection tool of research consists of personal information of teacher candidates together with the worrying levels towards computer scale. To analyse the data obtained through the study, percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean, t-test and variance analysis were used. Scheffe test was applied in the comparision of variance analysis results. . In the end of research; teacher candidates? the worrying levels towards computer were low and teacher candidates differed with respect to the place they live in, the high school they graduated from, the income levels of their families, the computer courses they attended before, time spent in using computer and availability of computers in places they are accommodated.
