Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the attitudes of prospective teachers towards cooperative learning in terms of different variables. The study was carried out in the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, and the sample of the research consisted of 321 pre-service teachers, 231 girls and 90 boys studying at the Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Faculty of Education. The research was carried out in the screening model. After the descriptive statistics related to the demographic characteristics of the participants, the distribution of the scale scores according to gender and the education department was determined. The distribution of the data was examined, it was determined that it was homogeneous and normal. As a result of one-way analysis of variance, TUKEY test was applied since there was a difference between the sections. At the end of the study, it was determined that the attitude scores of the teacher candidates towards cooperative learning were positive, and their attitude scores did not show a statistically significant difference in terms of gender and the department they studied. Although the pre-service teachers stated that they had information about cooperative learning, it was revealed that they did not know enough about the application of the method.
