Determination of teacher candidates' attitudes towards sustainable environmental education (Sample of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University)

This research was conducted to determine the attitudes of teacher candidates studying at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Education Faculty towards sustainable environmental education. Research; The study was conducted with a total of 855 teacher candidates studying at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Faculty of Education, Science Education, Mathematics Education, Social Studies Education, Turkish Education, ClaSroom Education, Preschool Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Education. The data in the study were collected with the "Attitude Scale towards Sustainable Environmental Education" developed by Afacan and Demirci Güler and consisting of 44 items and 6 factors. As a result of the reliability analysis conducted by the researchers, the reliability coefficient was found to be 0.905. The collected quantitative data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package program. As a result of the research, it was determined that teacher candidates' attitudes towards sustainable environmental education were positive.
