Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between the technological leadership roles of school principals and the performance levels of teachers according to teachers' perceptions. The relational survey model was used in the research. The population of the research consists of 1986 branch teachers working in 35 secondary schools and 26 high schools in Siirt city centre during the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample consists of 418 branch teachers working in 8 secondary schools (198 teachers) and 10 high schools (220) selected by the simple random method. In the research, the "Technology Leadership Roles Scale (TLRS)" and the "Teacher Performance Evaluation Scale (TPES)" were used as data collection tools. The collected data were analysed using the SPSS 22 package program. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation and regression analysis techniques were used. As a result of the research, it was determined that both school principals' perceptions of technological leadership roles and teachers' perceptions of performance levels were rated as "I agree/high" in general. It was also observed that there were statistically significant differences in the technological leadership roles of school principals and teachers' perceptions of teachers' performance levels in terms of some of the independent variables used in the study. Finally, there was a positive, moderate, and significant relationship between the technological leadership roles of school principals and the performance levels of teachers. As a result of the regression analysis, it was concluded that the technological leadership roles of school principals significantly predicted the performance levels of teachers and the technological leadership roles of school principals explained 16% of the variance of teachers' performance levels.
