Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is elementary schools teacher of first grade 3rd classes knowledge level of gifted students detecting and it is examinationed that ones is affected knowledge level depend on taken training programme involving identification of gifted students. In this research, descriptive and experimental pattern is used together. Descriptive pattern is used in determination of teachers knowledge levels about gifted students, experimental design is used with randomized pretest ? posttest control group design in determination of how affective the training provided through educational software is. The dependent variable of the study is skills of teachers in identifying gifted students. The independent variable of the study is the learning environment. The sample of the study comprises 3rd grade 8 teachers in Samsun ?İlkadım İlyasköy Türk-İş elementary school during the 2012-2013 academic year. As a result, the learning environment where learning takes place through educational software, teachers identify gifted students and academic achievement created a significant difference. In the control group of teachers identify gifted students and academic achievement difference did not occur.
