Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to search thoroughly if the childhood experiences of the teachers make a negative or positive effects on their attitudes and behaviours towards undesirable behaviours in the classroom. The aim of the application is to contribute to both educators and the literature. It is expected from this research to offer an idea for the teachers and create an outlook and awareness while evaluating students behaviours. For this reason, the scale was applicated with the simple random sampling method. In Pendik-İstanbul with 268 primary ar secondary teachers. In this research, demographic characteristics like sex, professional experience, travmatic story, childhood background, being primary or secondary teacher and the relationship between the attitudes towards undesireble behaviours of students ın the classroom, was tried to be observed. The outline of the research was enlarged with questions specified in sub-problems. SPSS 15.0 programme was used in data analyzing. In conclusion, ıt was observed that the teachers having negative or positive childhood experiencess give behavioral reactions at higher level.
