The effect of teacher?s leadership behaviors on students? aggressiveness tendency

As it is well-known, teachers and students every day are faced with aggressive behavior. Teachers are required to prevent the aggressive behavior at school. Otherwise, the school environment for both students and teachers will be distorted.Violence affects all members of school organizations. Therefore, student violence is a very important subject in terms of school organization. Teachers and school administrators have an important role in communication and in school effectiveness. Aggression will affect education in the negative direction.However, teachers and school administrators can reduce aggression. Teachers and school administrators must show leadership behavior. In general, it is accepted that there is a relationship between the aggression and leadership. In this study, we investigated the relationship between teacher leadership and violence. This research has been done in the SPSS analysis. According to the findings, there is a relationship between visionary leadership and aggression.Key Words: Violence, Leadership, Aggressiveness, Secure School, Student Perceptions.
