Examining the relationship between professional values ​​and professional professionalism of teachers (Konya sample)

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between teachers' professional values and professional professionalism. The sample of the research constitutes 403 teachers working in Konya province. Relational screening model was used to determine the relationship between teachers' professional values and professional professionalism. "Personal Information Form", "Professional Values Scale for Primary Teachers", "Professional Professionalism Scale of Teachers" was used as data collection tools. Descriptive statistics, pearson moment product correlation, independent sample t test, one-way variance analysis, simple linear regression analysis were used in the data analysis process. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that the teachers have a high level of professional value and professional professionalism. The relationship between the professional values of the teachers and their professional professionalism has been examined, and it has been determined that there is a positive and moderate relationship between them. In line with the analyzes made, it was seen that the professional professionalism of teachers is a meaningful predictor of professional value levels.
