Abstract (EN)
This study aims to determine the effect of unions on teachers' perceptions of organizational justice towards schools. The study is very important in terms of determining the negative situations that teachers are exposed to in educational organizations and creating scientific solutions to these problems. Qualitative method is used in the research and it was prepared in the phenomenology pattern. The universe of the research consists of secondary school teachers in the Kepez district of Antalya province in the 2020/2021 academic year. The working group consists of 25 volunteer teachers working in secondary schools. Easy accessibility and voluntariness were taken into account in the formation of the working group. Maximum variation sampling, one of the purposive sampling methods, was used in this study. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. Participant confirmation of research findings was provided. The result of the study in which the effect of unions on teachers' perceptions of organizational justice regarding schools was determined; teachers were exposed to unfair practices created by unions in schools. While it is seen that the authorized union member teachers are satisfied with the organizational functioning, the teachers who are members of other unions and the teachers who are not union members feel themselves under pressure, school administrators openly favor their union members at school. has been found to be. In the study, it was observed that some of the teachers were in a state of learned helplessness. It has been determined that the view that authorized union member teachers are kept separate in schools was repeatedly expressed by the participants. This research revealed that injustices caused by unions in schools negatively affect teachers' perception of organizational justice. It is known that the low perception of organizational justice will damage teachers' levels of organizational commitment and organizational trust. Therefore, school administrators and senior education workers should prevent the unions' efforts to create political structures in schools and should act to protect the rights of every teacher. It should not be forgotten that those who put their own interests before the interests of the organization will fall with this thought when the ideological thought that they have risen together will decline and they will have to account for all the gains they have gained undeservedly.
