Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to examine teachers' cyber human values levels in 360 degrees. In this regard, simultaneous mixed method, one of the mixed method designs, was used. The quantitative data of the research were collected through the "Cyber Human Values Scale" developed by Kılıçer, Çoklar, Özeke (2017) and the "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher for the independent variables in the research. Teachers' cyber human values levels were examined according to their gender, marital status, branch, educational status, seniority, effective use of social media and duration of social media usage. The study group of the research consisted of teachers who continue to work at the Ministry of National Education in the autumn semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. A total of 485 teachers, 291 female teachers and 194 male teachers, participated in the study. The obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 package program. The qualitative data of the research were collected from a study group consisting of 20 school administrators, 20 parents and 20 students with a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher, and the obtained data were evaluated with the MAXQDA Pro2020 program using the content analysis approach. According to the results of the quantitative part of the research, it was determined that the teachers' cyber human values levels were high. When the cyber human value levels of the teachers are examined; According to gender, male teachers attach more importance to the values of respect and peacemaking than female teachers, according to the marital status variable, single teachers are more tolerant than married teachers, according to the branch variable, the tolerance levels of participants with verbal, numerical and other branches are higher than the participants with vocational courses, according to the education level variable, the solidarity values of the participants with a graduate education are higher than the participants with an undergraduate education, there is no significant difference in the professional seniority variable, according to the variable of using social media effectively, the peacefulness sub-dimension and the participants who think that they use social media effectively in the overall scale have higher values and the social media Results showed that there were significant differences in the sub-dimensions of respect and peacefulness according to the duration of daily media use. According to the results of the qualitative part of the research, administrators, parents and students evaluated the 3 cyber human values that teachers should carry as respect, truthfulness-honesty and tolerance. Being that teachers are role models in social media as well as in school is evaluated by administrators under the headings of ethical standards, confidentiality and security, and discrimination ability; parents and students evaluated it under the headings of ethical expectations, perception of private life and online security. The advantages of teachers' having cyber-human values are evaluated by administrators under the headings of security, dignity and privacy; parents and students evaluated it under the headings of conversation-communication, respectability and security. Administrators, parents and students evaluated the disadvantages of teachers' having cyber-human values under the titles of lack of flexibility and restriction of creativity.
