Abstract (EN)

Foreign language education as one of the most important issues has been discussed in the education system of many developing countries. Nowadays, for following scientific research, renewing the teacher himself and to have more closed observation ability to science, surely it is necessary to know a foreign language opening to the world. On the other hand, wheras teacher candidates have problems to prepare themselves to suborb villages of Anatolia with lack of materials and weight of education conditions, in addition to this situation, learning of a foreign language may be additional burden to them. For this reason, in this research, views of teachers on necessity of foreign language were taken.In the research, 100 social knowledges teachers and 107 English teachers were subjected to survey, and by taking views of teachers on necessity of learning of foreign language, it is aimed to compare their views. There was no difference between views of both teacher groups (p>0.05). ın the following chapter of the research, by testing of each answer given to questions with crosstabulation analysis, answers of both teacher groups were examined with enlarged frequency analysis method. SPSS 15.0 for Windows statistical program was used to analysis statistical data. Research findings were criticised, and some suggestions were given to both future research and field rehabilitation works.
