Profession concerns of teaching: Document review

This study it is aimed to examine the studies on teaching profession concerns between 2000-2020. For this purpose, 364 studies of master's and doctoral theses written on teaching professional concerns between 2000-2020 were examined. To reach these documents, a literature search was conducted on sites such as the National Thesis Center, Google Scholar, Ulakbim, Dergipark. These studies were handled with sub-problems of purpose, place of publication, year of publication, level of study, type of study, study method, study design, and data collection tools. A qualitative research model was used to obtain reliable information in this study. The document analysis method from the qualitative research model was used. With this method, the data obtained from the studies on parent participation in education were analyzed with the descriptive analysis method. Data from 364 studies were systematically described, explained, interpreted, and reached some conclusions. In this study, the data were handled impartially and reflected the truth. The teaching profession is of great importance in developing and developing a country in terms of training qualified labor. For future generations to be valuable and competent individuals, teachers must-have several competencies. Teachers' anxiety about their areas of competence can negatively affect their attitudes and behaviors towards their students. Professional anxiety refers to the anxiety experienced by teachers and prospective teachers about the teaching profession, such as education and training, professional qualifications, relations with students, parents, and colleagues, appointment, and finding a job. As a result of the study, it was concluded that more quantitative studies were conducted on the teaching profession's concerns, scanning design was used, and it was written as an article for prospective teachers.
