Durability properties of self-compacting mortars produced with grounddunite

Abstract (EN)
In this study, mortars were produced by using dunite and silica Fume as mineral additives and the performances of the mortars in normal curing and 10% magnesium sulfate solution environments were investigated. In this context, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% dunite substituted and 5%D+25%S, 10%D+20%S, 15%D+15%S, 20%D+10%S, 25%D+5%S dunit and silica fume substituted mixtures were produced. A total of 12 batches of mortar samples were prepared together with the control sample and kept in city tap water and 10% magnesium sulfate solution with different curing times. Tensile and compressive strengths of the samples in bending during all curing times were measured and the deterioration of the samples was also observed. As a result of the study, it was observed that the samples containing 5% dunite provided the highest strength in the samples kept in normal curing. It was observed that the tensile strengths and compressive strengths of the samples kept in MgSO4 solution increased in bending.
