Abstract (EN)

Carrying out successful and effective occupational health and safety practices is a matter of crucial importance both for employees and employers in today's world. Systematic approaches are strongly required to keep these practices consistent and sustainable. Designed to serve the aforementioned purpose, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System undoubtedly brings benefits to each enterprise that can successfully implement the system. The main objective of this study is to explore whether or not the Universal OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System activity changes according to the culture of the relevant enterprise that has adopted the system, relevant country's (enterprise) culture and requirements. Accordingly, this study will attempt to discuss that, through the findings obtained within this context, the system changes with respect to enterprise culture, country's culture and relevant requirements.
