Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine how entrepreneurship skills develop in activities in which students between the ages of 8-12 participate in an out-of-school science-learning environment. In line with the purpose, answers were sought for sub-questions. The sample of the research consists of seven teachers and four students in a science club in Adana. The data consists of semi-structured interview questions prepared separately for teachers and students. Three of the students are girls and one is a boy. One female and one male student is ten years old, and the other two are nine years old. Students who are ten years old go to grade four, and students who are nine years old go to grade 3. Preliminary and final interviews were made with students and the development of entrepreneurial skills was examined. In addition, the researcher observed students for seven weeks. The opinions of the teachers in the science club and the sub-skills (risk taking, leadership, communication, creativity and planning) under the name of entrepreneurship skills were taken. The findings were analyzed by content analysis and the findings were included. As a result, it was seen that students demonstrate these skills if the environments to reveal and develop entrepreneurship skills are created. The interviews with teachers revealed that activities and many methods and techniques in out-of-school learning environments could improve students' entrepreneurship skills.
